What Are Dental Implants?
Are you living with tooth loss? Tooth loss can happen at any age due to damage, disease, or injury, but our award-winning doctor has the solution you need to smile again. Dental implants are the ideal dental restoration option for patients suffering from permanent tooth loss. Made from biocompatible titanium, tooth implants are screw-like metal posts that function as artificial tooth roots once placed in your jaw.

How Do Dental Implants Work?
There are three types of implants available, depending on your treatment needs:
- Endosteal Implants: This type of implant is surgically inserted into the jawbone. When the surrounding gum tissue is healed, a second surgery is needed to connect the crown to the post.
- Subperiosteal Implants: This type of implant uses a metal frame that is fitted over the jawbone underneath the gum tissue. As the gums begin to heal, the metal frame fuses to the jawbone. Finally, the posts are attached to the frame and used to support one or more dental crowns.
- All-on-4 Implants: This type of implant uses a series of four posts surgically placed in your jaw. The posts are used to anchor a full arch denture and replace a full set of missing teeth.
Once placed, the titanium implants fuse with your jawbone to help regenerate and preserve the natural shape of your jaw. Titanium stimulates bone growth to combat the effects of bone loss that typically happens as a result of tooth loss. Dental implants are the only tooth loss solution that can prevent or reverse jawbone loss.
DO YOU ACCEPT
Insurance?
Yes, our practice accepts insurance. We will do everything we can to help you maximize your benefits. Are you uninsured? We also offer simple and affordable financing options for those who qualify. How Long Do Dental Implants Last?
Unlike removable dentures, tooth implants are fixed permanent restorations. You will be able to speak and chew normally with your implants, enjoying your favorite foods without worrying about a slipping denture. You will also be able to care for your artificial teeth the same as your natural teeth. Be sure to brush twice and floss daily to ensure your implant stays strong for decades to come.
Am I A Candidate For Dental Implants?
Our experienced dental team recommends dental implants for patients suffering from the loss of one or more permanent teeth. Tooth implants are recommended to maintain the health of the jawbone and prevent the loss of bone tissue. The best candidate for dental implant restoration is in great overall oral and physical health. Your gums must be healthy and free of gum disease. You must also have a healthy jawbone to support your implant.
